Greenhouse is looking to build a new department with best-in-class procurement and supply chain expertise. rnrnCore responsibilities for this department are:rn• Negotiate all purchase terms with suppliers including costs, quantities, product specifications and all other services associated with bringing product to marketrn• Partner with Quality Assurance department to ensure that all raw material and packaging specifications are established and communicated to vendors. Ensure that specifications are enforced with all vendors.rn• Build framework for interdepartmental communication to manage healthy inventory, from procurement to quality assurance, warehousing, production and accountingrn• Streamline logistics and customs clearance on imported goodsrn• Procurement-related strategic planning, including future requirements planning with vendors, and sourcing new vendors, new products and new technologies to improve quality, consistency and/or cost |
